Election Day Prayer at Saint Andrew’s
November 3 @ 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Election Day Prayer Vigil open to public
A Pray-and-Go Vigil for Election Day is being hosted by Middleway Urban Monastery Nov. 3. The event will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 217 W. 26th, Bryan, while the polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The public is encouraged to come during that time to offer individual prayers. Facemasks are required and social distancing will be practiced. Participants will be offered a free cup of coffee, hot tea or bottled water as they leave.
Organizers said while it is not necessary to be in a church building for intercessory prayer to God, “praying individually but in community with others is a powerful statement.” The monastery welcomes all, regardless of political preference, to join in finding hope, comfort and peace through God’s love through the election and beyond.
