Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church Core Values

Embracing our identity as members of the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement,

we hold these values:

Love (Luke 10:27)

We show love for God and neighbors through worship, prayer, and caring for one another and our neighbor.

Worship (Psalm 105:1)

We offer Anglican liturgical worship that instructs, comforts, renews, and challenges through prayer, music, Eucharist, and the beauty of our worship space.

Community (Ephesians 1:8b-10)

We build and nurture strong relationships within the congregation in order that everyone feels that they belong, and we engage with the wider community for the common good of all.

Openness (Ephesians 1:18)

We are compassionate and accepting of all people and generously honor the breadth of the Anglican tradition in understanding how God is at work in our lives through inquiry, curiosity, and discernment.

Hospitality (Hebrews 13:16)

We respect the dignity of every human being and welcome the friend and the stranger through a friendly and generous environment.

Service (Mark 10:45)

We seek and serve Christ in all people, loving our neighbor as ourselves.

Integrity (Philippians 4:8)

We actively reflect on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to authentically live up to the values we hold.

Stewardship (2 Timothy 1:14)

We strive to be good stewards of all that has been entrusted to us.
